FLOW-IN has helped me reconnect with painting in a much gentler way. It gave me permission to slow down, to let go of pressure, and to paint without constantly judging myself. More than technique, it helped me feel that painting could be a safe space again, not another thing I had to do right. Before starting the course, I felt blocked, overwhelmed, and disconnected from my work. After spending time with FLOW-IN, I feel more grounded and more willing to show up, even on difficult days. What I value most is the softness of the approach, the emphasis on flow rather than control, and the feeling that it’s okay to meet myself where I am. Thank you for creating something that goes beyond painting and genuinely supports people emotionally as well.

When I started FLOW-IN, I couldn’t stop! It felt like sitting with a friend to paint because of Crystal’s approach and charisma. She creates art and she creates connection! It also felt like I could paint almost anything now because of the content that was taught. Flowers became more interesting because painting with Crystal taught me how to observe and interpret references, but mostly the confidence to make the painting my own and give it my personal twist. I've never paid for online classes before, and I was nervous to spend what seemed like a lot of money when there is so much content available free online already, but having such a well thought-out, comprehensive and cohesive series of lessons has made me really happy with my "investment". What I've enjoyed about FLOW-IN most has been learning to paint things that look good but that are also fun to paint. I easily fall into perfectionism when I'm following tutorials and your lessons are helping me relax into the process rather than getting hung up on a perfect end result. I'm also learning to think positive thoughts about my own work by having it modelled to me!

You are my favourite artist on IG, I just love your style and I am absolutely loving FLOW-IN. I have learned so much already and I've just started. I have heard the term "let your brush dance", but until I watched how you move the brush & your hand around to create beautiful marks, that are all different, I didn't really get it. Your lessons are well organised and cover so much material. Also, you are a great teacher. You hold a safe space for your students where we can explore and be okay to make mistakes. Not all artists can teach. I am so happy for you that you have found your sweet spot in life. I look forward to many more courses ... hopefully!

I finished this entire course and I want to say THANK YOU for creating such a wonderful course! I feel confident mixing colours, painting from a picture or a real bouquet of flowers and actually using up my materials instead of letting them sit unused. I’m a member of Crystal’s Patreon and completed her floral watercolour course FLOW-IN. Crystal is my favourite teacher and such an inspiration - both in the beautiful way she approaches painting but also in her outlook on life. 

Crystal always assumes an uncomplicated, positive approach and has a wonderful gift of breaking things down in simple ways. She teaches her students to accept “mistakes” (& likely wouldn’t even call them that) and leaves no room for that inner critic which sometimes holds us back before we even begin. 

Crystal is so positive, encouraging and such a wonderfully genuine person. I’m loving her recent landscape videos and can’t wait to enroll in the upcoming landscape course! I feel I have so much to learn, and cannot think of a better person to learn it all from!
