🌿Hi! I’m Crystal,

I’m a watercolour artist inspired by the quiet beauty and atmosphere of the natural world. Originally from Singapore, I now live near Melbourne, surrounded by the ever-changing landscapes of the Yarra Valley — a place that continually teaches me about light, colour, movement, and stillness.

Painting landscapes, for me, is more than capturing a place. It’s about capturing a feeling — the mood of the sky, the energy of water, the softness of distant hills, and the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. Through watercolour, I’ve found a way to slow down, observe deeply, and reconnect with nature in a mindful and meaningful way.

My background as a yoga teacher has deeply influenced how I approach creativity: with presence, intuition, and flow rather than perfection. In my courses, I hope to help others experience the same sense of calm, freedom, and joyful expression that painting has brought into my life.
