Hello, I am Crystal.
I’m a watercolour artist inspired by the quiet beauty and atmosphere of the natural world. Originally from Singapore, I now live near Melbourne, surrounded by the ever-changing landscapes of the Yarra Valley, a place that continually teaches me about light, colour, movement, and stillness.
Painting landscapes, for me, is more than capturing a place. It’s about capturing a feeling, the mood of the sky, the energy of water, the softness of distant hills, and the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. Through watercolour, I’ve found a way to slow down, observe deeply, and reconnect with nature in a mindful and meaningful way.
My background as a yoga teacher has deeply influenced how I approach creativity: with presence, intuition, and flow rather than perfection. In my courses, I hope to help others experience the same sense of calm, freedom, and joyful expression that painting has brought into my life.
Whether you’re new to landscapes or returning to your creative practice, I’m here to guide you in painting with confidence, curiosity, and heart.

The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults, and children because there is no explicit content. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.

In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as pictures and references, so you can take some inspiration and you can practice. You can follow each step as I show it to you, and you can comment and compare with other students under each video or in the group so you can resolve any doubts you have and learn new tricks!
